“A miracle?” Julian sputtered. “You’re telling me that snowflake, the snowflake that was going to stab my girlfriend, just happened to ram into the wall, because the ‘strong and almighty’ was looking out for her?” I nodded, smiling innocently. “Pretty much, yeah.” Selma, still slightly shaking, the mug of tea in her hand almost spilling, mumbled, “I – but I heard you, Audelia. You literally commanded it to move… and it freaking MOVED!” I was slightly panicking, not as much as Selma, but I admit it was nerve-wracking. I didn’t hear myself speak, yet Selma claims she heard me order the ornament out loud. I wasn’t sure whether I had full control over it, or it was literally a miracle from God. On the inside, I had this feeling of certainty that it was my own doing. Like a gut feeling.
