Chapter 25

2007 Words

Once we heard the whistle blow to finish the game, we all celebrated practically jumping on Sam as he smacked the ball down on the other side. He won the game for us. It was the evening when we got back and that just gave me enough time to get ready for a night to celebrate our win. As a team we don't normally go out a lot we kind of leave that for our socials more than anything. We were finally in joe's car on our way to the team's favourite bar that we used to go all the time in first year. Joe has been such a great friend for me since this whole Alex thing. I wasn't going to force him to ditch his best friend but I'm glad he didn't take sides. "I think coach might ask you to be captain you know" remi said turning to face me in the backseat. I stared at her like she had lost her mind.
