"Hey! Hey wake up!"
Lydia stirred, a deep groan slipping past her throat. Her eyelids felt like they weighed a ton, and she felt tired all over.
"Wake up! The guards will soon be here!"
She opened her eyes to see Vance crouched over her. His brows scrunched together in worry, as he shook her awake. Her eyes moved to his arm that was previously broken, and she was glad to see it healed. That had worked, it had gone very well.
"I'm awake." She said and slowly sat up. The cell was just as she remembered. Dark and cold. "I'm awake now."
"What the hell was that?" Josephine asked with a relieved sigh. "I was so scared they'd find you here. Odin would skin you."
