Maeve’s POV After my shower, I quickly towelled off and ran a brush through my hair before slipping into the pajamas I had left in the bathroom earlier that evening. I wore a simple grey t-shirt that came down to my knees and a pair of soccer shorts underneath. I looked into the mirror and couldn’t help but be shocked by how much my appearance had changed since I was last here. I loved how I looked strong even though I remained slight. Grinning at myself, I pulled my hair up into a messy bun. I hated sleeping with my hair down. I turned to walk back into my room but hesitated at the door, listening out for any sign he was still in my room.  I didn’t want to leave him alone in my room, but my heart was beating too quickly to remain in the same place as him.
