Third Party POV
Now that Maeve had made contact with Anja, her escape plan was finally set in motion. Anja would visit as often as she could to give Maeve updates on the various stages. Today Anja had a surprise for Maeve.
When she entered her friend’s room, she quickly shut the door and hurried to Maeve’s side. Before she spoke, she used her inhuman hearing to make sure she wouldn’t be heard by any of the other pack members. She leaned in close to Maeve’s ear before she spoke, since Maeve had informed her that her senses were significantly reduced when there was no one in control of the body.
“Maeve, I have a surprise for you but you’re gonna have to get up. I can’t lift your big ass by myself” Anja teased
