Chapter 4I left earlier than I needed to this morning. Luckily, dickhead, sorry, Tom, doesn't have access to my work diary so I can lie about what time I leave and what time I will be finishing. If anything, I could've had a lie in this morning but I was awake at 5.30am. Once I was awake, there was no going back to sleep. Since our relationship began to plummet I have been waking up a lot earlier. The days seem so much longer, it's great! He doesn't notice because he doesn't get up until… actually, I don't know what time he gets up. He 'works when he wants to work' apparently so he gets up when he feels like it. He hasn't noticed that I have been getting up earlier so he must be sleeping until after a normal time that I would have left for the day.
My meeting is about a forty-minute drive
