Chapter 19The unnecessarily loud phone system is ringing letting me know that I have a visitor. I rub my eyes and immediately feel the pounding thud in my head. My mouth feels and tastes disgusting after smoking far too many cigarettes last night and it becomes clear that I am still pissed. Today is going to be a dark day. I peel myself out of my bed and gently place my feet on the floor. I am not ready to see anyone but the only way to shut up the intercom is to get up and grant access to whoever the sleep intruder is outside. I make my way to the door and look in the video cam.
