Tori’s POV
I wake up in a dim place, there is a lantern burning close by but it doesn't give off enough light to see my surroundings. I can smell rain. My head is spinning, and I feel like throwing up again. I try to get up, but I don’t have the strength. The last thing I remember was Jackson holding me. I have no idea how long I have been here or what is going on. I want to talk but the words are not coming out of my mouth and I hear footsteps.
“You awake.”
“Hilda, what is happening,” I say when she gets closer.
“Shhhh, save your strength, you need to eat and rest.” She says.
She slowly feeds me some soup, as the warm liquid flows down my throat I feel a tear slip down the side of my eye. Hilda wipes it away and says,
“It’s ok, everything will be ok, and you will be well soon.”
