Jackson’s POV
The moment Mike walks out of the cave Tori begins pacing, she has a worried look on her face and I walk up to her and pull her into my arms.
“Breath!” I say, rubbing her back.
She lets out a deep sigh and I pull back, look into her eyes and say,
“Tell me what happened with the ladies?” I ask her gently.
“Nothing, they had too many hands, so I didn’t want to get in the way, besides I am exhausted.” She lies and walks away.
I let her go but this isn’t the end of the discussion. I decide to go get us dinner and bring it back to the cave so we can eat in privacy and talk. I suppose she might just be tired, I was outside and as I approach the ladies serving the meals, I hear them say,
