Jackson’s POV
The border has burnt down to the ground, black, and a slight cloud of smoke hovers in the air. I can see the wolves getting restless and their fear is causing them to lash out at Tori. I have been standing at the top of the cave entrance, waiting, watching, and preparing myself.
“The time has come for us to use all our training. Everything you have learned comes down to this moment. We will win this war and reclaim our land.” I say.
The wolves look at each other and then look at Tori, she looks away and I can tell that she feels hurt by them, I wish there were something I could say to her to take that feeling away but this is neither the time or the place for it.
“Set your personal feelings aside, we fight as a pack and protect each other, no matter what!” I say.
