Accompanied by the howls of the lead wolf, Dilan and the others had already gotten out of bed.
"This poor thing is howling so miserably, did it get bitten by the tortoise again?"
Dilan rubbed his head and opened the door, and, just as expected.
The land tortoise was curled up in its shell, and the lead wolf, terrified, was hiding in the corner. Upon seeing Dilan open the door, it immediately rushed out.
Several new patches of fur had fallen off the lead wolf.
Fortunately, it wasn't seriously injured.
Dilan shook his head, suddenly feeling a bit sorry for the lead wolf.
Not only had its position been replaced, but now it was being bullied by a big tortoise, leaving it with no dignity as a wolf.
