I sat in the navigation room, my feet propped up onto the table with a few candles lit around me and a book splayed open in my lap, half read. Aurella had returned to her tower in Scotland to continue her research on the air god, Fujin whom we would locate next. Caleb was asleep in the Captain’s quarters where I had left him after getting some much needed sleep of my own. The ship was silent, the waters still and the heavens clear, aiding in my concentration while I read. Fujin was a Japanese warrior, a Samurai who had fought beneath a lord during the Sengoku period.
