Nolan stood in the doorway to the Captain’s chambers, his face clouded in a layer of fear both for how Caleb would react and how the situation would be dealt with. He had just informed us that the anchor had caught on something and that it couldn’t be raised which meant that we were stranded in the middle of that lake in Scotland.
