Elena's P.O.V The alarm bleated that it was time to wake up. I never turned on my alarm, but for today I did. I had to look presentable. I wore a decent white blouse with a knee length black skirt. I had my long hair tied in a high ponytail. I looked at myself one more time in the mirror before I made my way to my packed bags. I sighed as I picked them up. I will miss my mother so much. I went downstairs and followed the scent of bacon and eggs. I watched my mum in awe as she was waiting for me in the kitchen. "That's my favourite breakfast," I took a bite. "I know it is sweetie," she smiled. I am so grateful that she is my mother or else I would be lost. We ate breakfast in silence. After I finished I hugged her, "I love you so much". She hugged me back tightly, trying to fight the tears. "I need to go now". "Be a good girl," she said as I closed the door behind me. ***** I took the train. It felt like days. As soon as I arrived, I took a cab to drive me to the location. Wow. Was what I first thought of when I got out of the cab. This is a mansion. I knocked on the door and was greeted by a kind lady. "Hi! you must be Elena come in". I thanked her. "I am Barbra Gustin. You came a long way, let me show you around then I will take you to your room to rest," she said sweetly. ***** She showed me around the house and where I have to clean. There are so many rooms, I hope I don't get lost. Mrs. Gustin also mentioned that she lives with her son and Mr. Gustin is away for a business trip. She then guided me to the room that I am going to stay in. I laid on the bed and closed my eyes. So far things are good.
