Summer put down her glass and picked up her makeup bag, blinking at her friend. "Gonna hit the restroom," she said. Shen Zhitong nodded. The bar wasn't crowded, with Hermes-clad men and Chanel-toting women moving back and forth. Shen Zhitong only recognized a few luxury brands, and most of the people passing by were wearing high-end brands she wasn't familiar with. After about seven or eight minutes, there was a soft exclamation nearby. Shen Zhitong looked over to see Summer bending apologetically towards the man she had accidentally spilled her drink on earlier. Trouble. Setting her glass down, Shen Zhitong hurried over. Summer had inadvertently splashed her drink onto the man's pants as she passed by him. "Sorry, I'm so sorry, it was an accident," Summer apologized repeatedly, pushing her loose hair behind her ears in distress. "What's going on?" Several men nearby quickly approached, scolding Summer. "Can't you watch where you're going?" Summer looked scared and glanced at Shen Zhitong for help. Shen Zhitong pulled her behind her and apologized to the man sitting on the sofa. "I'm really sorry, my friend got a bit drunk and accidentally spilled her drink on you." She looked at the man's wet trousers. "Can I have them dry cleaned for you?" "Do you know how much dry cleaning these pants cost?" complained some of the men nearby. Shen Zhitong continued to apologize, while the man sitting silently on the couch lifted his eyelids slightly to glance at her, a fleeting shade of sarcasm crossing his eyes. "No need," he said casually, retracting his gaze. After a pause, he casually asked, "Which department are you from?" Shen Zhitong didn't react to his sudden question. But Summer quickly stepped out from behind Shen Zhitong, standing in front of the man with a embarrassed look. "Mr. Zhou... Mr. Zhou, hello, we're from the data support department. I'm... I'm Summer." "I'm really sorry, it was an accident. Can we please forget about it?" Mr. Zhou...? Shen Zhitong looked at the man in front of her. His surname was Zhou, around thirty years old... She gradually realized that the man in front of her was none other than the CEO of their company, Zhou Xingjin, the only son of the chairman of Anxia Group. "Let's go back," Zhou Xingjin said, raising his chin slightly to indicate they should leave. Summer made a sound of acknowledgment, quickly bowing before picking up her glass and dragging Shen Zhitong back to their seats in a confused manner. "He's Zhou Xingjin," Shen Zhitong asked. "Yeah, don't you know him?" Summer's tone was relaxed and easy, completely different from before. Shen Zhitong shook her head. "I've never seen him at the company." She looked at Summer, who was now leisurely sipping her drink with a triumphant look on her face. "Were you...?" "Did you figure it out?" Summer smiled at her. "Yes, I did it on purpose." "How was it? Will he remember me?" Summer raised her eyebrows at her, intentionally fluttering her long, curly eyelashes. Shen Zhitong nodded slightly. "Probably." She remembered how Summer would sneak into the CEO's office before work and leave a cup of iced Americano on his desk. Once, when she had urgent matters to attend to, she even asked Shen Zhitong to deliver it for her. "You're not going into Anxia Finance because of him, are you?" Summer pouted and smiled, "Not really, I only noticed him after joining the company. I heard..." She leaned in closer to Shen Zhitong, whispering softly, "He's twenty-nine this year and still single. So I thought I'd give it a try, see if I can reel him in." Shen Zhitong looked at her and hmphed, withholding her comment.
