She raised her guard. This is a very secluded place. Who would come here? Wouldn't it be the person cleaning the place? But the place looked like it was just recently cleaned. She paced towards the window beside the front door, making sure not to make extra noises. The surroundings were so quiet save for the occasional bird and insect sounds, so the sound of shoes stepping on dead leaves was very audible.
