TERRA’S POV
I have no idea what got over me and caused me to start yelling but I did and couldn't stop myself even when the kids ran toward me asking what was wrong. I couldn't answer their question not because I didn't feel like I pretended but because I didn't actually know what to tell them. They were asking why I was crying.
I felt Levi’s hands on my hair the whole time I spoke on the phone, probably trying to calm me down. It should have worked but all it managed to do was remind me of Landon’s tender hands on my skin as he tried to slide down from my hold and instead of it to help calm me done it caused more nerve-wracking feelings in my gut and I cried even more.
Hearing the door being pushed open, I thought it was Collins but was surprisingly relieved to see that it was Nathan.
