Despair.
That was the only word I could describe what I was feeling at the moment. Excruciating and unbearable distress that felt like it had its claws around my heart and was squeezing very hard each time I tried to breathe. It doesn't stop there only, how I wished it did. But no, it followed through my veins and delivered itself to every part of my body, causing me distress to the point where I couldn't even stand.
And then each time my mind lingers toward the real cause of my despair, the pain I testify, if that was even possible and all I could do is shed undesirable tears just to ease the pain. The only thing that was helping in keeping me sane was Nathan’s words.
