"Ember, you have to try and calm down." Trey appears behind me and touches my shoulder comfortingly, "I get you are scared but we can figure this out together."
The photo that I held one minute ago is now on the floor, the glass that once protected the picture is shattered into hundreds of little pieces. Is this the same man that kidnapped me? Why is he looking at my father? I think. I take a few deep breaths, Trey is right, I need to calm down. i won't be able to do anything if I'm in a constant panic.
"You are right." I admit to him.
"I know I am. I was looking at the photo you found on the tree outside... it is pretty faded and old, you haven't been here in years so you have no idea when it was put there." Trey tries to explain.
