Nicole:
As I was making my way out of the jerk’s company I bumped into someone and began to apologize to him when my eyes landed on the familiar figure and a smile took over my face.
“Asher,” I murmured in a low voice.
“El…I mean Nicole. What are you doing over here and what has you all riled up?” he asked with a nervous smile “Did you have a fight with Jericho?”
“You mean that egomaniac jerk? Then yes.” I replied, “It was nice to meet you once again, Asher.” I told him and began to leave when he stopped me by grabbing my arm gently and asked.
“If you don’t mind me asking. Would you like to go on a coffee or lunch with me today?” he asked rubbing the back of his neck nervously “As a friend of course. There is something I want to discuss with you if you don’t mind me asking.”
