“LUNA! Behind you!” Richter shouted to the girl who’s been shielding the orphans that they had just rescued from the Fort. He himself is trying to concentrate so as not to break the Link. Sweat started to form on his forehead mixed with the blood trickling from the corner of his eyes. He has to be stronger. He couldn’t just give up when they had been trying to track down the twin orphans for two months since the Oracle gave them the Mission.
Leave me now. Luna’s mind connecting with him. I’ll try to hold them as long as I can. Just leave here with the twins. Go now!
I’m not leaving you. I won’t. I’m not going to lose any more of us.

“Give it up, Lighties! Both of you are burned out already. Even if you managed to escape us, you won’t even survive the Jump,” the voice of the Feeder called Kane echoes in the dark night.
“Yeah, just return those two brats to us and you can go back to that s...hole of yours!” laughed another faceless voice somewhere to Kane’s left.
“Now, now, gentlemen, we shouldn’t provoke them. Master asked us to bring ALL of them back to the Fort. The brats AND those two Lighties. No Lighties should ever escape from the Fort...”
“Oh, Serena. You are such a spoilsport! Couldn’t we just tell the Master that those two Lighties accidentally got caught in our traps?” said the faceless voice in an irritated tone.
“No, Hamish dear. I don’t want Master to punish any of us later on. You know how he could link his mind to those two brats and find out exactly what happened here...” Serena smiled menacingly at both Kane and Hamish.

“Mom! Have you seen my watch?” Amber shouted to her mother from the top of the stairs.
“No, dear. Maybe you left it near the TV last night before you went to bed. Go and search for it yourself. I’m busy with the laundry!” Mrs. Lynds shouted back to her tomboyish daughter. Being a wife to a super busy businessman is hard enough. But that is nothing compared to being a mother to two eccentric daughters who each have their own unique personalities...
Amber ran down the stairs and went straight to the family AV room. She tapped her forehead lightly. Sure enough, her watch was there next to the antique Ming vase her father value so much. Her hand reached for the watch when suddenly a voice shouted loudly out of nowhere. “LUNA! Behind you!”
Amber was so shocked that she accidentally knocked off her father’s precious vase to the floor. Voices of different people shouting and laughing kept ringing in her ears. Oh no! Not again! She started panicking while trying to block the strange voices in her head.......
