Time had flown by, and before they realized it, five years had passed. "Hello, Camille, and welcome home." A man on the other end of the line answered the phone. Emily shut her eyes. She was tired and exhausted after a long flight. She had just returned from another country. "I selected the best kindergartens for your two children, but after reading your files, I noticed that one of your children resembles Ryan, another student there." "But if you'd like to, you can also look into it," the man continued after a little pause, his lips forming a smile. "I know you spent some time abroad and worked really hard." "Thank you, I will take a look, but I doubt that there is someone out there who looks exactly like my kids," Emily says. "As you wish, I have ordered someone to prepare your place, so I guess all you need to do is go home and rest." Having said that, there was no sound from the other side. He was always direct, and Emily barely had time to say thank you before he hung up. Alas, she has long been used to it... Emily raised her hand and pressed it against her temple. "Mommy!" The little girl cried out, her bright eyes blinking, her eyelashes thin and long, and her snow-white skin made her look like an angel. She pursed her lips, clearly annoyed that Emily had answered the phone and ignored her. "Mommy, you promised that when you return home, you will take my brother and me to the amusement park! And that we can eat a lot of tasty food. I was talking to you, and you didn't listen!" "Mia, calm down, or I wil not take you to the park." Emily scolds her little girl; she looks at her son and sees him playing with his phone. She knows children shouldn't have phones at this age, but it helps her a lot; besides, she got a family link on their phones. She got them phones to keep them busy on these long flights. "See, I told you not to make Mommy angry," Mark taunts his little sister. He raised his chin and glanced at Mia, which seemed to be a warning. "Mark, I will slap you!" Mia stamped her feet. She blushed and clasped her hands together. Mia knew that she had done something wrong.   Emily, who was exhausted, couldn't help smiling when she saw this scene. The two always argued over the smallest things but loved each other unconditionally. The familiar city came into view again, but things were different. The things of that year were still filled with emotion... Just don't think about that. Emily put her arms around her two angles, and her heart swelled with pride when she thought of them. "Mommy, you promised us; how can you break your promise, Mommy?" "I am sorry, baby, I'm sorry that Mommy didn't listen to you. I'm tired after this long flight. I tell you what, why don't we go tomorrow, okay?" On hearing what her mother said, Mia smiled and nodded her head. "Okay! I listen to Mommy. I love you, Mommy!" Her eyes were half narrowed, and her sparkling white teeth showed as she smiled. Mark looked away from the screen and said, "You like amusement parks but don't like Mommy. If you really like mommy, you would--" Boom! Before he could finish his sentence, a loud noise interrupted him. Mark frowns as he looks at Mia, then looks away and quickly looks for the sound source! "Mommy, over there!" Mia said, pointing to the direction the sound came from; she looked slightly nervous and said, "Someone fell down!" Emily looked in the direction she pointed to, only to see an old man lying on the ground 100 meters away, and the young man next to him seemed to be rummaging through the suitcase for something. Being a kind-hearted doctor and out of professionalism, Emily strides forward with her two children. "What's the matter?" Looking at Emily, the young man wiped the sweat on his forehead and said, "No, my grandfather has low sugar. There were sweets in the suitcase, and now I can't find them..." The young man looked up and scratched his head, embarrassed. "Do you have sugar here? I'll pay you later..." Emily didn't listen to a word he said. She looked at the old man back, trying to figure out what was wrong with him. Emily bends down and puts her finger to the old man's nose... "Breathing is gone; how can it be low blood sugar?" When the man heard what Emily was saying, he got frightened. He stood still, looking at Emily, shocked. He thought it was his grandfather's sugar, but he never thought it would be something else. "What are you doing? Call 911!" Emily ordered the young man. "Ah, yes! Yes! I will call them right away!" The young man trembled, took out his mobile phone from his trousers, and dialed 911, and his voice sounded sad. Emily immediately knelt on the ground with her palms crossed on the old man's chest. She pressed harder and faster. Five minutes later, Emily leaned down, then got up again and continued to press. After pushing for ten minutes, the old man still turned purple and lifeless. As far as she knows, the airport here is busy, and now it is peak time. She doesn't know how long it will take for ambulances to arrive. "This is not low blood sugar, it is a heart attack, but the symptoms he usually shows are similar!" Emily made a quick decision and knew she had to take risks. "Do you have a knife here? Give it to me quickly!" The young man's tears kept falling, and his head shot down to Emily. He quickly said, "He loves drinking tea on weekdays. He has a tea knife. I'll give it to you!" Emily frowned and added, "And a lighter, Hurry! After finding it, you can find a pipe or straw!" When he heard this, the young man answered repeatedly and immediately went to find what she was searching for. There was a lot of noise on her side, attracting many passers-by. They pointed at Emily and whispered from time to time. Emily calmly took the lighter and disinfected the tea knife with fire. She was a little nervous, but she decided to aim it at the old man's throat with a simple sterilized tea knife. Cutting the throat to avoid hurting the arteries. "What are you doing?"       The onlookers next to her can't stand it anymore. The old man didn't look in good a few minutes ago. Now his throat has to be cut open. Isn't this killing someone? "If you cut his throat and he can't breathe, he will die! You will be guilty of murder, do you know?" Someone yelled out. Those whispering voices became louder and louder, and in the end, people wanted to stop her! Just then, the young man found the straw. He opened the crowd and walked back. When he saw Emily's movements, he turned pale! "This is not good; it will kill him. Let's wait for the ambulance to come?" The young man wiped the sweat on his forehead and whispered, but Emily didn't listen. "It's too late; I am a doctor; if something happens, I will take full responsibility!" "What are you waiting for? Give it to me!" The young man doesn't give it, and Emily grabs the straw. She must operate now, or he will die! People around her wanted to stop her again, but Emily stared back with a look that stopped them in their tracks. Emily's hand is very steady. She holds a tea knife and cuts the old man's throat without hesitation. The blood sprays out at once, and the people around her are scared. What's more, video recordings have already started. They pointed at Emily and shook their heads, and sighed. Emily was focused on the man before her and carried out the operation wholeheartedly. After cutting, she inserted the straw into the man's throat. Because of the pressure, the old man was almost forced to breathe when the straw went inside the hole she had made. But gradually, his chest began to rise and fall. "Whoo..." The people around her cheered. Emily wiped the cold sweat off her forehead, and suddenly, loud applause broke out around her! "I told you this girl could do it, and you still didn't believe it." After witnessing what she did for the old man, the people who criticized her a minute ago sang a different tune "Wait a minute." The loud sound of the people's applause was heard from afar, and Robert, who heard it, suddenly stopped. He frowned, only feeling that the woman standing in the center looked familiar. He stepped forward and was about to walk through the crowd when his phone rang. The voice on the other side of the phone was very anxious. "Robert, something happened to Anna!"
