I woke with Caleb's name trapped behind my teeth. My heart was racing so violently that it hurt.
I stayed curled up under the blankets for a while, staring at the wooden ceiling and trying to convince myself it was just another dream.
It wasn't just a dream. It had felt too real. His lips. His hands. The warmth of his forehead resting against mine. The roughness in his voice when he whispered my name.
The way his wolf had roared inside him while Bey had answered with an aching cry that shook my entire soul.
Even now, long after waking, my skin still tingled where he had touched me.
