The council meeting only worsened, even among Lycans; our political terrain is full of selfish sycophants ever pursuing interests and factional agendas. The current situation has created a gap for them to exploit; an attack on the palace grounds has created the loophole.
Now, with the palace breached, not only is the royal family's safety at risk, but also the fragile balance between Lycans and humans. One wrong move could cost lives, shatter alliances, and set off a conflict that threatens supernatural order itself.
We are still fighting border skirmishes with other territories. I have only worried about rogue attacks and wolf packs with divided loyalties. With the current situation, there is a need to be prepared for further problems that might still crop up.
