Two hours before going back to their base...
"Wow!!" Jaehyun can't help but to be amazed with the beautiful scenery in front of them.
Jaehyun and the others are now in front of the river. It looks beautiful and enchanting. The river is in the middle of the forest surrounded with trees. The water is so clear and it glistened as the sun shines on it. At the one far end, they saw a mini water falls. Birds are also flying cheerfully.
For a moment they felt so happy, that they almost forgot why they are there.
A few minutes passed before Taeyong spoke.
"This seems to be like a paradise." He said. "Alright guys! Let's do this. We need to get what we need."
He sat beside the gently flowing river, scooped clear water using his both hands, he smelled it first. After checking that the water doesn't have foul smell on it, he drank it.
"Wooh!!! Aaahh!! " Taeyong exclaimed.
"It taste so refreshing!! Go ahead guys. Fill your thirsts!! It's so good!!" He said while giving the others a signal to do it.
The other three guys, did the same thing as Taeyong. They all lined up and sat beside the river and drank water using their hands.
"Aahhh!!!" They all said at once.
"That feels so good! I feel like all my energies are back!" Lucas said with a huge smile on his face.
Jaehyun who is on the end of the line even washed his face and wet his hair.
"I know others will be happy to see this." Johnny said after drinking once more using his both hands.
"Yes. You're right. But how are we going to bring water for the rest of them?" Taeyong asked.
"I think those will work?" Jaehyun said while pointing on the clustered Taro plant across the river.
"Yeah. Those will be good." Lucas agreed.
"Let's go then." Taeyong stands up.
The other three followed Taeyong's path.
Taeyong crossed the path of the river that is knee deep. They even all exclaimed when they felt the cold water at their feet.
Each of them get two taro leaves and shaped it like a triangle, where the tip is the center of the leaf. Then used the stem as string to tie the other side.
After filling each self-made water container, they all get ready to cross the river again and get back to the other group.
Taeyong successfully crossed the river once again, followed by Johnny and Lucas.
Jaehyun is just three steps behind Lucas when he accidentally slipped on one of the huge rocks at the bottom of the river.
He fell on his bottom which made a huge splash sound. Johnny and Lucas turn around at the same time.
Taeyong who first saw what happened, run to check on Jaehyun.
"Are you okay? Are you hurt?" Taeyong asked as soon as he reached Jaehyun.
"I think so.." Jaehyun said, then he hands the water he collected to Johnny who also came to his rescue.
"Let me help you to stand up." Lucas said as he extended his hand to Jaehyun.
Jaehyun stands up with the help of Lucas, but when he starts to take a step using his left foot he almost fell again. Good thing that Lucas got a hold of him and supported him to stand up again.
" My left foot hurts." Jaehyun said while holding on to Lucas.
Taeyong helped Lucas in supporting Jaehyun and all together they crossed the river.
The two guided Jaehyun to sit on one of the huge rock. Taeyong then checked Jaehyun's left foot.
"I guess it's just a sprain." Jaehyun said to reassure the others.
"Yeah I think so too." Taeyong responded as he put down Jaehyun's foot.
"I'll help you to walk for now, so you will not have to put too much pressure on your injured foot." Lucas declared.
"Let me and Taeyong carry the supplies we got." Johnny said, then took the supply from Lucas' hands.
"Let's go back now to the base." Taeyong said, then picked up the gathered dried woods on his right hand and the self-made water bags on his left hand.
All four went back to the base. Taeyong followed by Johnny leads the way, while Lucas and Jaehyun walked together while following them....
... Present time..
Jeno reached the new comers first. He immediately took the roll of dried woods from Taeyong's hand to help. That's when he noticed that Lucas is supporting Jaehyun to walk.
"What happened?" Jeno ask, same time with Doyoung who just joins in.
"I sprained my ancle, but it's not that serious so don't worry." Jaehyun answered while smiling to reassure the others.
Then Ann just arrives and asked the same question. She immediately went beside Jaehyun to check on his condition.
"I am okay! Don't worry, it's just a minor injury. It should be fine by tomorrow." Jaehyun said while smiling to Ann.
"You sure about that?" She said, then she held Jaehyun's right arm to help Lucas who's holding Jaehyun from the left side.
"Yes." Jaehyun answered shortly, because deep inside his heart is beating too fast and he felt unexplainable happiness as Ann held his arm.
They all started to walk to where the rest of the group are waiting.
Taeyong shared what happened while Jaehyun reassured others that he is just fine.
Lucas and Ann helped Jaehyun to sit comfortably on the files of weaved coco leaves.
Then Taeyong and Johnny handed the water they collected to everyone. Everyone excitedly drank the water.
"We found a river that can be our source of water for the time being." Johnny happily shared to everyone.
"That's great! It tastes good and so refreshing!" Heachan exclaimed.
Ems shared her water to Ann who is seating beside Jaehyun.
Ann drank the water then asked Jaehyun if he also need to drink.
Jaehyun just smiled and said that they already filled themselves.
" Should we start making fire now?" Jeno asked as he sits beside the rolls of dried woods.
They don't have a clock with them, but by looking at the direction of the sun, it looks like it's already close to night time...
