When everyone already had enough rest they started their climb to the top of the hill.
The slope is too slanted and it is quite high. Good thing there are trees along the way that gives them enough shade from the hot sun.
They just focus on going to the top of the hill or at this point they should say little mountain.
They continued their way up to the pick of the hill until they reached the area near the edge of the cliff.
They are all catching their breath due to the long walk, but they couldn't help to be amazed by the beauty in surrounding them.
From where they are standing they can see the entire island. They can even see Haechan and Mark from their base.
They tried to wave their hands to the two but the two did not respond.
"They can't see us from here." Jaehyun said.
"Yeah. I guess so. We are too high up here." Taeyong agreed then lowered his both arms that are waving eagerly.
"Too bad. I don't see any other island near by or any ship or boat." Ann said feeling a little disappointed
"It's okay. We are already expecting it anyway." Jaemin said to reassure Ann.
Ann looked at Jaemin then smiled to let him know that his words comfort her.
Jaemin smiled back.
They are looking at each other when Jaehyun spoke. "What's are next plan now?"
"We'll go with the original plan. Let's leave a sign here to let rescuer there are people in this island." Taeyong said.
Then he pulled out a red scarf from the bag he had.
It was on of the few scarfs in Ann's luggage. They decided to tie it on one of the trees near the edge of the cliff.
It looks like a huge flag after they finished tying it.
" Alright this should be good now." Jeno said when they are done.
Once again they surveyed the entire island with their eyes and the ocean surrounding them before they decided to join Doyoung's team.
They are now on their way down. The slope is now slippery that they have to slide their way down little by little.
It's already half way when suddenly they heard a loud scream coming from the middle of the forest.
Its Ems!!!!!
Ann exclaimed while still startled from the scream. She then hurriedly slide down to the next tree bark.
Jaehyun saw Ann's action. He got surprised but before he can make a move Jaemin whose from his behind already passed by.
Jaehyun got worried also for Jaemin.
Taeyong saw everything that happened since he is at the front of the trail and he immediately turned and stopped to check on the others.
"Guys be careful!!" He shouted which made everyone paused from where they are.
"I am sorry.. I got scared when I heard Ems scream." Ann said after realizing she acted harshly and it is not safe considering their current situation.
Jaemin also look apologetic about what happened.
They are all calm now, Taeyong decided to continue to go down.
He successfully manage to slide down to the next tree bark.
Ann followed his track.
Jaemin who is now behind Ann is about to slide to the tree where Ann was recently holding, when the root he was clinging to breaks.
He slides down without control of the speed. Ann who clearly saw what happened extended her other hand right away to give Jaemin help.
Jaemin was able to get a hold of someone's hand. It helps to stop him from sliding down further. He hold tightly to the person's hand holding his arm, before he realized it was Ann's.
He was so surprised and so worried since she's carrying both of their weight. But it did not last for too long because Jaehyun and Jeno came to their rescue.
Jeno immediately held out his hand to hold Jaemin.
As for Jaehyun he slide down to Ann's side and wrapped his arm around her waist. This gives Ann chance to relax both of her arms, as she let the person beside her to support her weight.
Taeyong climb back to where they are.
"Are you hurt?" He asked Jaemin full of worries in his eyes.
"Noona, are you okay?" Jaemin asked Ann instead of answering Taeyong...
"Yes, I am okay. How about you?" Ann asked in return.
"I am good. I am good. You shouldn't have done that. It almost hurt you." He said.
"Should I just let you slide down all the way to the jump off?" She said while smiling.
"Are you both sure, that you are okay?" Jeno asked them.
"Yes. I am good. Thank you." Ann said, then she looked at Jaehyun on her side. The man is intently looking at her with full of worries in his eyes, she smiled and gently removed his hand on her waist.
"We should go check on the others now." She said.
"Are sure about that? Are you not hurt at all?" Jaehyun asked.
"I am fine." Ann said although one of her shoulder still hurts.
She is not that athletic. In fact she is not a fan of gym classes. She only do jogging every morning for some cardio exercise.
Jaehyun helped her to stand, then she patted the dusts that stick on her clothes.
Jeno also helped Jaemin to stand up and he patted Jaemin's back.
"You okay?" He asked Jaemin.
Jaemin just nodded and smiled a little as he gently massage his right shoulder. "It just hurts a little but I am fine." He said.
"Should we go now?" Ann asked.
"Yes, let's go. We need to check the others." Jaemin said.
"If both of you are fine, then let's go." Taeyong said then continue to lead them as they slowly goes down to the jump off.
This time Jaehyun stayed beside Ann as they go down and help her from time to time if the path becomes too slippery.
