"Hyung! Hyung!!" Lucas called out to Taeyong who is in front of the trail leading their group.
Johnny and Taeyong both stopped to check what's happening to Jaehyun and Lucas.
Lucas and Jaehyun both gave them a warning not to make a noise. Both are pointing and looking at top of the tree, just ten steps away from where Taeyong and Johnny are headed.
"It's a snake!!!" Taeyong said to himself. Too shock and scared to make a move.
His an animal lover, but he knows that snake can be so dangerous, especially that he doesn't even know what kind of snake it is, but by the looks of it and given its habitat he knows its a venomous snake.
Johnny tap Taeyong's shoulder, then gives Taeyong a signal that they should go to the left side.
They all examined the side that Johnny pointed by looking on the surrounding trees, then little by little they quietly and carefully walk to that path.
Taeyong still checks on the venomous creature as he let the others move first. He needs to know if its still on its original location.
Outside the forest...
"Are you ladies a fan of NCT?" Heachan asked out of the blue as they are weaving the coconut leaves.
There's just the three of them him, Ems and Ann while the other four members are busy looking for more coconut leaves.
"Huh?" Ann was surprised with the sudden question.
"Well I am just curious. Don't get me wrong. I am just a little surprise that both of you don't treat us like celebrities. It's not that I am expecting it, given the situation. But.. You know??.." Haechan ended his question hesitantly and seems to be expecting that Ann and Ems will just understand his thoughts.
" I am.. We are your fans." Ems said proudly.
" I became a fan because of this girl here. " She added while looking at Ann." But as you may have noticed I am way older than you guys. I know I need to act accordingly, as you have mentioned, we are in this unexpected situation. I don't think this is the right time for me to act like a head-over-heel type of fan. I dont want you guys to feel awkward."
"Yeah! I agree with what she said." Ann said.
"But believe me, we are fans of your group. In fact it even feels wrong that I feel so happy right now and even wishes for this situation not to end so soon. Hihihi" Ann added while laughing shyly.
"But don't get me wrong, okay? Deep in my heart, I am praying that we'll all be rescued, the sooner the better." Ann ended her statement with a serious look in her eyes.
"I knew it! Just as I thought, I know you ladies don't want to be awkward." Heachan smiled. He seems to be contented with what he heard.
They all went back to their tasks, until they finished weaving the last available coconut leaves.
Heachan stands up.
"Do you think this will be enough?" Heachan asked pointing at the files of coconut leaves that they weaved.
"I think that should be good. Let's just hope that my coats that we hanged earlier will be dry before night falls." Ann answered.
Before starting to weave the coconut leaves, they hang the coats from Ann's luggage to serve as their protection for the cold later tonight.
" Yeah! I think that will be good enough for now." Ems agreed. She knows that this hot weather will be great to dry the coats soaked in water last night.
"Let's inform the others, so they can also take a little rest." Ems suggested pertaining to Doyoung, Mark, Jaemin and Jeno whose been in charge in searching and bringing heavy coconut leaves.
"Okay! Hyung!!" Heachan shouted to Doyoung.
He waves his hand at first and when Doyoung who's from a far faces his direction, he started to form "X" using his both arms.
"Stop collecting leaves now!!" Heachan shouted while still doing the "X" sign.
Doyoung who seems to be confused looked at Mark.
"I think his signalling us to stop." Mark said.
"Yeah I think so.." Jeno agreed.
"Okay!" Doyoung said then him and Mark quickly headed to Heachan's direction still dragging coconut leaves on both of their hands.
"Jaemin, let's go back now to our spot." Jeno calls the attention of Jaemin who's so focus in checking every corner of the leaves.
"Huh? Do we have enough now?" He looked up to Jeno as he is still seating and holding on to the coconut leaves he's examining.
"Yes. Heachan already called for us. Let's go."
They both headed back to their so-called base camp, same with Doyoung and Mark they each hold coconut leaves on both hand and dragging it back to the base.
"Are guys done weaving all of it?" Doyoung asked as soon as him and Mark arrived.
"Yes. We have enough for what we are planning to do." Ems answered. "You guys can take a seat for now, we know you guys did the heavy task."
"Thanks." Mark sits on one of the weaved coco leaves.
"Good thing you guys brought more leaves. This will be enough for my plan." Ann said as she picks up one of the coco leaves that Mark just puts down and dragged it a few steps away from the shaded part.
Doyoung and Mark are both surprised with what Ann did.
Ems is just looking at her friend. She knows her friend have a good idea, because Ann is in to hiking, she probably knows a thing or two about survival techniques.
Jeno and Jaemin arrives and saw what Ann is doing.
Jaemin immediately walks fast to follow Ann, while still holding and dragging the coco leaves on his both hands.
Ems followed, realizing her friend will need help.
"What are you planning to do?" Jaemin asked when he reached Ann. Ems is just right behind him.
"It's important that we create a huge " S. O. S" sign so that rescuers from helicopters or planes will know that someone is in this island..."
" Yeah! That would be great!" Ems said.
" I see. Let me help you." Jaemin offered his assistance...
Jeno just looked at them from a far. He seems to already have an idea what's bothering his bestfriend....
