The glare of the computer screen caused her eyes to water and Madie blinked to clear her vision. She took a break and padded to the kitchen to get some water. Since her session with the regressionist, she’d spent every spare moment searching Google sites for a missing woman in the late 1990s called Tara—to no avail. A couple of drops of Murine cleared her eyes. She put it down to eye strain. Between my day job and long evenings online too, not good.
Back at the computer, she found a reference to The Highway of Tears and got lost in the story.
