Avery’s POV
It has been almost two months since my company started working on the Southall project and we have stumbled onto our first major issue. It looks like the city plumbing under the streets is in more need than we anticipated. It is going take a sizable portion of the budget to stabilize the ground and re-pipe. I am hoping that the cushion I put in the budget, will be enough to cover this new expense.
I also hope and pray to all the Gods that have ever existed that there aren’t anymore surprises as we more forward. Now I have to make the phone call that I have been dreading since we discovered the damage last week. We did an extensive examination and I now have the reports in my hand, here goes nothing.
