Lucas said to her "how about this room? I heard from Max that you like being in a flower garden and this room looks over the garden". Alyra said "Its perfect am I aloud to go into the garden?" Lucas said "this is your home now Alyra, you can go anywhere on the premises and in the mansion. The mansion has everything you will need for training, there is also a swimming pool, hot tub/sweat room, plenty of rooms, ballroom, kitchen, library, and an office where I am usual at when I am here, other then that I am at the bar".

Alyra tells Lucas "a lot of space for one person to get lost in". Lucas said "you will get use to it, trust me". Alyra and Lucas brought up the rest of her weapons and suitcases to her room. Lucas asked did she want something to eat, but Alyra said "no I just want to rest a bit". Well if you need anything I will be downstairs where we came in, and turn to your left straight to the last door and that is my office... okay". Alyra said "okay".

She laid down on her new bed and started crying so hard that Lucas could hear her threw her bedroom door. Lucas left the hall and proceeded to his office.

Alyra cried herself to sleep until the next morning.

The next morning Lucas knocked on her door and said "want something to eat?" Alyra was awake but didn't answer Lucas. Lucas left the tray at her door and made his way downstairs to his office.

Max called Lucas and asked "how is she adjusting?" Lucas said "its only been one day, but she hasn't come out of her room". Max said "give her a couple of days, Mama just died and I got you to take her away all in one day. Besides I heard her and Caleb was having a relationship in the mansion, I need to put distance between them. I will call back in a week and give you her first solo job". Lucas said "yes boss" and hanged up the phone.

After Lucas finished his paperwork for his bar he went back to Alyra's room and knocked on her door, and said "I hope you are decent because I am coming in?" Alyra never changed her clothes since she arrived at Fox mansion. Lucas looked at her and said "starving oneself and not bathing nor changing your clothes is not going to get you back to Harwood Condominium Homes. Max informed me that you and Caleb had a relationship going on. Alyra its forbidden for Reapers to have relationships with other Reapers, bad enough even having an outside relationship with someone is still forbidden. Its too dangerous.. someone can use them against you. In time Caleb will forget about you and you will do the same".

Alyra informed Lucas there isn't anything between her and Caleb for 8 months. He slept with another woman. Well lets get you in a bath or shower "stinky" before you chase away my wildlife around the mansion". Alyra smiled at Lucas and said "shut up". Lucas said "come on".

Lucas brought Alyra to the kitchen and asked her "tell me what you like to eat?" Alyra looked at Lucas and said "can you cook?" Lucas looks at her and says "what does it say on my apron?" Alyra said " Mr. Cook, but that doesn't mean you can". Lucas laughed and said "yes I can cook Alyra, now what do you want to eat for dinner? Alyra said "surprise me" Lucas said "okay how about chicken chow mein?" Alyra said "that sounds good, do you need help?"

Lucas said "it won't take long to make, how about you go and look around the mansion a bit and get familiar with rooms. I can tell you the upstairs are all bedrooms, the main floor we are on has the library, swimming pool, etc. The basement has the gym and other rooms for you to get familiar with". Alyra said "okay, and made her way out of the kitchen and start exploring the main floor and the basement of the mansion".

Lucas had the entire meal finished and plated, but Alyra hasn't came back yet. Lucas decided to go searching for her, and found her in the ballroom twirling in the center with her arms completely reached out on each end, and spinning. Lucas walked up to her, and said "I think you need dancing lessons", Alyra stopped twirling with a red face. Lucas lifted her chin up to his face and said "don't be shy, you should be able to enjoy life while you can, even if its as simple as learning how to dance. Now dinner is getting cold, lets go".

Alyra follows Lucas out of the ballroom to the kitchen. They sit down at the table with their plates and drink in front of them. Lucas asked Alyra" you said earlier you were on your own since 5 yrs old, where is your parents?" Alyra explained "that her parents wanted her dead, because she was born an Alpha and that they didn't need two Alpha's. Scared that I would challenge my brother for the pack, and dad didn't want a girl Alpha to rule his pack".

Lucas said "what was the name of your father's pack?" Alyra said "The Crescent Moon Pack". Lucas said "that pack doesn't sound familiar to me". Alyra said "It wouldn't because I came from Canada". Lucas mouth dropped and said "you made a journey from Canada to United States! How did you ever make such a journey so little?" Alyra said "when you have a determine will to live, but unfortunately it came with a lot of struggling. I also met some nice humans who took me in at 8 yrs old named Ed and May Atwater."

Lucas said "do they know what you are?" Alyra said "no, I left in the middle of the night after I stayed 1 year and 3 months with them. They taught me how to survive as a human. I haven't seen them since, they live in Hope. When I was ten I ran into Sam at Frink Park while he was doing a job, and Max took me in after a few test of his own doing. I trained with the Reapers for 7 years, and here I am now".

Lucas said "your a special kind of wolf aren't you Alyra? I felt it when you touched me in the car". Alyra said "yes that's why I told you we aren't the same kind of wolf". Lucas said "what kind of wolf are you?" Alyra said "I am a mystical wolf, and the last of the very first wolf bloodline, Asher". Lucas said "what the f**k! Are you lying?" Alyra said "no... Asher been guiding me through the entire trek from Canada to United States though I haven't talked to him in the spirit world for a long time. Last time we spoke we got into a big fight and I haven't went back to the spirit world".

Lucas said "what happened?" Alyra said "I don't want to talk about it". Lucas said "where did he want you to go?" Alyra replied "to a pack at Tahoe called "The Moon Claw Pack" supposedly they are traditional pack and guardians of royalty. There supposed to be a council there to train me how to rule like a monarch, and once I found my chosen mate I will become Queen of all werewolves."

Lucas said "why didn't you keep going to Tahoe?" Alyra looked at Lucas with an angry expression, because my own kind only taught me how to suffer alone, and starve to death. The Reapers showed me love, kindness, and gave me a place to live with stability unlike what Asher has done. They were my family that I haven't had since the Atwaters. Now I am alone again without a family. I wish I was never born".

Lucas said "I can't imagine what you went through, but like you said in the car. We need faith and a miracle but you are our miracle Alyra, and hopefully you can forgive our kind for what they have done to you".

Well let me show you the garden outside. Alyra nodded her head yes. She followed Lucas to the flower garden in the back of the mansion.

Meanwhile Sam went to Caleb in the fighting arena and said "I have a plan, but it is risky". Caleb said "I don't care". Sam said "we have to plant a bug in Max's phone in his office". Alex and Dave showed up in the fighting arena room. Alex said "I think someone spying on us, and Max is watching our movements". I heard from one of Max's body guards that Alyra was taking away, because Max heard about you and her from another Reaper". Caleb got really angry and said "f*****g Seth", Sam grab him and said "we don't know Caleb who did it, but at least we know someone is watching us".

Caleb said "I will plant the bug, this is my problem". Sam said "we all would do anything for you and Alyra. We are family Caleb." Max will be less suspicious if Dave planted the bug, because he is always in the office, and Alex is great with tech. We can set the equipment in my room since no one never goes near my room.

We will plant the bug while Mama's funeral service is going on. Caleb looks at the guys and says "Alyra should be here for the funeral". The guys all said "yes, but we can't dwell on that Caleb. We need to plant this bug, and when Max talks to Lucas again we can get a fix on her location, and go after her all together."

"Alex will also set up everyone bank account to different banks so Max cannot freeze our money from jobs we already done, so he can't stop us. When we get to Alyra's location we will change her bank account also, then we are all be free to do what we want."

Sam said "Its the best plan because nothing else is working. You need to wait another month so we can put this plan into action". Caleb said "yes, and if we fail I'm leaving anyways and start searching outside of Seattle for her". Sam said to Caleb "It will work trust me brother".

Lucas said "why do you like flower gardens?" Alyra said "Its peaceful, and the smell takes me to a place that calms me down, just like the woods". I never thought of it that way Lucas said.

Alyra says "everyone is different and having that one special place that grounds you, when you are having a shitty day is nice to have. Mine is the woods and the flower gardens".

Lucas tells her she is safe to roam in her wolf form within the woods near the mansion. Alyra tells Lucas "that's a good ideal, thanks for telling me. I haven't changed into my wolf for over 7 years now. It would be nice I miss it, and ChiChi would love to be free for awhile".

Lucas says "ChiChi is your wolf name", and Alyra says "yes and what is yours?" Lucas says "Oliver". Alyra says "cool, maybe we can run sometime together in the woods". Lucas says "sure anytime just ask".

Well I will leave you here and go make us some supper. Relax a bit Alyra, you are safe here. Lucas walks back to the mansion.

Alyra talked to ChiChi for an hour, and finally ChiChi asked Alyra "how do you feel about Caleb?" Alyra replies "I miss being in his arms, I felt so safe with him ChiChi, but I don't know if I could ever forgive him for taking a human to bed with him". ChiChi replied "If you truly love someone even though they have commit an unspeakable act like betraying you and your trust. Either you try again from scratch or leave him permanently. I know Caleb loves you so much, and It haunts him for betraying your love and trust. He wants you and needs you by his side Alyra."

I'm so confused ChiChi how he could betray us like that. ChiChi says "sometimes things don't go as planned, but we learn from our mistakes". Alyra tells ChiChi" we should head back to the mansion for supper". ChiChi agrees.

Alyra entered the kitchen and notice she is having T-bone steak with bake potatoes and a side salad. Alyra talked to Lucas at supper sharing more stories. After supper she went to her room, took an hour long bath then changed into her pajamas for the night and went to sleep.
