Reece’s POV
“To begin with; I wanted to try and apologize, Angelica”, Lewis began, taking a seat on the bed with Autumn and Summer on either side of him. “I should have stopped Connor; I just didn’t know how. It was like he was possessed or something.”
Angelica gave him a small smile, trying to hide her anxiety. The problem was, I could feel it and so could Caleb and Isaiah because both took long strides to move from where they were standing to sit on either side of us as I pulled her closer to my chest. “Why can’t I hear you?” Autumn asked, glancing at me and then Isaiah. “Summer said she couldn’t hear Angie when she put up the charm. Why can’t I hear you? I’ve always been able to, even when Caleb had the charm on.”
