Lilly's POV Every bone in my body protested; even my hair stood on end. My entire being warned me of the danger lurking around me. My instincts screamed for me to run, to hide, yet something deeper urged me to stand my ground. As he narrowed the circle, my breath caught; the rapid pounding of my heart made it difficult to breathe properly, causing me to gasp for air like a drowning fish, feeling faint.
