Lilly's POV
"Urgh," I moaned as I slowly dragged my eyelids open.
My head throbbed uncontrollably, and my hand instinctively shot to the side of my head. I winced at the sharp pain radiating through my skull. The light filtering through the curtains made me squint. Everything around me felt too bright, too clear, and too lively.
I tried to sit up, but the world swayed around me, forcing me to steady myself against the edge of the bed.
My attention shifted to the wide-open window, the curtains fluttering in the soft breeze, and sunlight spilled in, bringing warmth.
