"Why can't I find her location?!"
Amanda shuddered, closing her eyes for a brief moment. When she reopened them, they flashed with defiance. "I don't know." She said, her tone betraying the look in her eyes. "I think the bracelet is interfering."
"You think?! How is that a concrete answer?!"
"You should calm down."
I turned to her, willing myself to push my wolf down. I can't let go here. I have to control him.
"Don't tell me to calm down."
"If you would just tell me what the problem is rather than being difficult, I'm sure we can find a solution."
My feet moved on their own, crossing the space between us. Amanda stood her ground, quietly staring at me. Groaning in frustration, I swerved away from her and turned to the window.
