Diana's POV:
The next week that dragged on was the definition of pure hell.
"Gather round everyone!" Liam called out, making everyone pause and look up at him. "I have a very important announcement to make."
I felt eyes on me. Turning, I saw Amanda glaring at me. Ever since I told her off, she hadn't spoken a word to me. Everyone noticed it, and they had been avoiding me. It didn't bother me, if anything I was glad for the peace. I had so much going on that was more than who was talking to me and who wasn't.
"There has been a recent development in the company." Liam continued. I turned away from Amanda and looked at him. "Ever since we embarked on the actualization of our proposal, it hasn't been easy. I know that."
