In the restaurant, I acted like the assistant I was even though I knew that Lucian was always glancing towards me every single chance he got. I tried to push the events that had occured before we had come here to check out this restaurant, deep down in my brain. For now, I am CEO Lucian Aurelius' assistant. Every thought of Amanda and contract friends and whatnots I pushed away.
The manger chattered on happily about how the restaurant worked, the working environment, the pay, the food, the menu and on and on about things a restaurant like this was meant to have, seeking validation from Lucian.
