Lucian's POV
"Will you explain what the hell is going on to me?" Eva asked for the second time in a minute, her footfalls racing after me.
It has barely been an hour since we left Sandra's house. I can still see the look on Diana's face as I told her that Amanda would be coming to take care of Emily and the spell.
She didn't look like she believed me one bit.
"We're going back home." I announced to Eva.
"Back home?! Lucian!"
I paused in my tracks and turned to face her. "Eva this is magic, alright. Amanda is the only one for now who can handle it."
Eva's eyes were voids of worry. "But what she's asking for, can you give it to her? Will you be able to do it?"
"I have to." I said with zero hesitation. "This is Diana. "
