Lucian's POV "She's not picking?" Eva asked. The table vibrated subtly with the motion of her leg bobbing under it. "She's not." I replied, ending the call. I slammed my phone face down on the table. I turned and looked right at Eva. She moved back, feat crossing her face. "Your eyes" She said. I closed them briefly, taking in a deep breath to calm myself down. When I opened them again Eva nodded, meaning it was all good now. "Did she tell you where she was going to?" "No." Eva sighed. "She got a call in the middle of our session and she just left.
