"Hello to you too" I said, glaring at Elijah. "Now we train and don't play on the cell phone" "Are we back at school or what?" I asked, jerking my chin up defiantly and he nodded "And I'm your teacher." I beg your pardon? I guess I didn't hear right. My teacher? Would he train me? Why couldn't I train with the others here? As long as I got my dose of blood, my hunting instinct was really limited. But as soon as hunger sets in, I'd like to kill every living thing and suck every last drop. “As you train, your hunger will decrease a bit. You're thinking of something else. It's not too bad" Nick tried to cheer me up, but I didn't like the fact that Elijah treated me like I was a school kid. "Don't you actually have any gym clothes?" Elijah then asked, pointing at me. I crossed my arms and tilted my head. "You're not wearing any either." I countered and Nick next to me giggled. Elijah raised his eyebrows and crossed his arms as well. "Do you want to start a fight?" he asked again and I glared at him. His eyes lit that beautiful green I could sink into. Then I shrugged. " Maybe" "Well then, let's fight him in the ring." He took off his jacket and tossed it in a corner. His arms were tattooed. Covered all over in black ink. Roses, and symbols that just looked incredibly beautiful. Through the thin fabric of his shirts I could watch his muscles flex as he walked to the boxing ring, I could feel my knees going weak Elijah was my type even though I told myself otherwise. "Stop drooling Bee" Nick whispered to me and David nudged me in the side as well. "It's pretty hard to finish him off. And he's not even out of breath after that" David said nodding his head at Elijah. I clicked my tongue and looked at the two boys next to me "I'd even f**k him up in my highest Louboutins" They laughed and accompanied me to the boxing ring. I also took off my jacket and threw it on my bag. I got in the ring with Elijah and stood facing him. "Wouldn't you rather back off?" Elijah asked, crossing his arms. I did the same and gave him an ice-cold look you can take it out on me and I on you" I took a step towards him. And another and another. Until I stood right in front of him and could hear his heartbeat and his fresh mint. "I have no problem with you Beth. We're not good for each other" he whispered and his rough deep voice gave me goosebumps. Good for each other? I looked at him confused but he just smiled and took a few steps back and evaded my proximity. I wanted to ask what he meant by that said, but then he suddenly stood behind me and forced me to my knees with a single well-aimed blow to the shoulder.A brief pain shot through my body but it passed as quickly as it had come.Angrily I looked up at Elijah, who was telling me his hand reached out, and I took it reluctantly. "First rule: Don't get distracted" he helped me again to "So you're already making rules?" I asked, crossing my arms over my chest. I knew myself that I was acting like a little girl, but I was so so upset that he was being so arrogant to me and it upset me that that's exactly what I wanted. i wanted him He nodded and lunged at me, swinging. I dodged his punch and ducked under his arm and drew back. But I couldn't react as quickly as he grabbed my arm and twisted it behind my back. He was standing very close behind me and I could smell his aftershave. Elijah brought his mouth very close to my ear. I got goosebumps everywhere and my heart was beating somersaults. "Rule number two: Never attack directly. Never head-on" he whispered to me and let go of me again. Stunned, I turned back to him and tried to concentrate. But it wasn't that easy. Especially not with him. I tried to suppress this feeling deep in my stomach and scattered poison for my butterflies I watched him go away from me again. We stared at each other and I had to be careful to stay in control and not pull him down to me. I sank into his eyes and I also noticed the twinkle in him. I had to grin and stretched myself up to him. Then I grabbed his shoulders and rolled him onto his back so I was sitting on top of him. I pinned his hands to the mat and looked down at him. "Don't get distracted," I grinned and got up. It all happened in a split second. Vampire Speed was actually incredibly cool. I put my hands on his forearms "Come on. break my neck Then you have your peace before me" I hissed and waited for it. But he didn't do it. Instead he bent down to me again. "Maybe I should do that. Since you've been here chaos has ensued." I turned to him and pushed his hands off me "Chaos? Are you kidding? I have not done anything. You can live your life the way you always have. For me, on the other hand, it's chaos. You don't bother with me anyway, so you can't talk about how your life has changed." I snapped and took a step towards him. "And if you did. Then you wouldn't have brought me to school here You could have just left me alone." "And endanger innocent lives? You are a monster Beth." He also took a step towards me. "You could never control yourself. You would probably have killed your friends long ago." We faced each other. So close and yet so far away. He made me angry. i hated him "How can you say that. I would never hurt my friends or family," I hissed, tipping my chin up defiantly at him. "Oh no? The police report on your parents' murder said you were a suspect." Well he went too far with that. My anger at him skyrocketed and my seething feeling rose up from my stomach. I growled and my hand flew out and I grabbed his neck. "Don't you dare mention my parents. You never understood that. You have no idea. Of nothing," I growled, baring my teeth. The monster had appeared and was ready to hunt. My fingers tightened around its neck like a vise. "Maybe it was you, maybe it wasn't," he retorted. I didn't seem to mind that I had my fingers tight around his neck. My fingernails dug into his skin and a thin trickle of blood trickled down his collarbones. "Maybe it was you," he whispered, and he too had bared his teeth by now. We growled at each other like two wild animals. I ran my tongue over my fangs and then c****d my head Rip out your throat. Then you wouldn't be able to say a word and you wouldn't talk bullshit like that. You have absolutely no idea about me, my life and my past, so shut up" I hissed at him and then threw him out of the ring. He slammed into the wall, tearing a hole in the wood paneling. "We're not good for each other. So stay away from me and don't ever talk about my parents again!" With that, I got out of the ring, grabbed my jacket and bag. Everyone was staring at us, their practice suspended. I wanted to ask what was there to stare at, but I didn't want to be a monster or at least not mean. So I just grabbed my stuff and stormed out of the hall.
