Lacy's POV
It's been three days since I got discharged from the hospital. Every morning when I wake up, I am greeted with numerous gifts. I can tell who it is, but I don't want to even talk to him.
Although I have to tell him about what Celeste said, in those three days, Brent and Maria have been visiting. Maria asked Vincent to appoint her as my maid officially, and she was overjoyed when he did.
Unfortunately, she was isolated by the other maids, except for her friend from the other day, who sometimes helps her clear out my gifts or takes some when I tell them it's too much and they can pick for themselves.
Maria says that she doesn't care, though, and remains as bubbly as ever. I have tried to bring up her father sometimes, but it seems that she isn't ready to tell me.
