Lacy's POV
The door slams open, and one of the masked men rushes in with his claws out. He doesn't look okay, and his head.
His eyes keep twitching, and are they... red?
I turn to Vincent's mother, but she's trying to look past the intruder and at the commotion behind. Can't she see that we have a pending issue right in front of us?
The man lunges for us, so I push Vincent's mother in the other direction as I fall on the floor, hitting my elbow hard.
I let out a shriek, and this finally makes her look at what's going on.
The unstable masked man stares at me and moves to attack me. I push myself up with my arm and run to the lamp at the side of the bed, slamming it into his face when he comes too close.
He stumbles backwards and falls to his knees.
