"She's ready to be discharged," the pack healer says.
"Okay, thank you," Vincent replies.
The pack healer bows again and then leaves the room.
"It's time to go home," Vincent says as he takes off my blanket.
He tilts his head a little, and then a nurse comes into the room with a wheelchair. I guess he mindlinks them.
"Vincent, Vincent, Vincent," I yell in my mind.
"What?" he replies.
"What!" I exclaim.
"I can hear you, you don't need to scream," he replies.
"Vince, I just mindlinked you," I mutter.
"What?" he says, his eyebrows raised in surprise.
"Yeah, I just do it, I don't expect this to work," I reply, feeling surprised and confused at the same time.
