  Kian   Five days had passed since I discovered Nara was pregnant. My mind is unfocused, consumed by thoughts of her and our baby. I catch glimpses of her around the packhouse, but she is avoiding me like I carry the plague.   I stare out the window, thoughts of my unborn child flooding my mind once again. Will I be a good father? What will it be like?   My gaze shifts to a father and son playing in the driveway. I can't help but wonder, 'Will I have that with my child?' Will my butterfly ever let me? Right now, she hates me, and she has every right. She thinks I'm considering letting Stella raise our child, but that is not the case. I would never do that to her or our pup.
