“Let me go!!” I scream, thrashing in his grip when the world becomes upside down for me as he hauls me on his shoulder to drag me back inside the Gates. My voice is raw but I keep going until I slip out of his grasp, landing on the green grass on my shoulder that a crack ripples through the air and pain shoots up my shoulder.
“Stop it” Reed asserts, pissed beyond his limits and clasping his hand around my waist.
“LEAVE ME!” I cry and scream as my last resort, a cry so gut-wrenching even I surprised myself but it does nothing to melt his cold heart as he drags me behind the cabin.
“Who left the door open?!” He shouts, putting me down on the ground. I look around through my blurry vision, a bunch of rogues are scattered around near trees.
“I… I'm sorry, I just came out to get her water”
