“They left no trace behind. We investigated the nearby Packs for suspects but CCTV footage shows no one left their territory after sunset” Ethan, our Beta shared.
“The attacker must have left earlier in the day and stayed hidden in the woods, waiting for a perfect opportunity to strike. Normally cities outside our border are closed after sunset which makes it an advantage for the attacker” I state, leaning back further into the couch as I watch the CCTV footage play on Ethan's iPad.
“Which will make it impossible for us to claim a suspect in those Packs” Ethan concludes.
I nod, keeping the tablet aside on the table.
“Those Packs outside are small and would never want to make us enemies. I wonder if someone was hired from there to specifically attack me and Bella”
