I lost an angel

Taehyung read his old conversation with jimin as soon as he lied down, he thinks that jimin is so cute, so sweet, so perfect.
"what have I done? why did I let go of an angel like you..?" He asked himself, sorrow evident in his voice.

"can't you mind your own f*****g business? look, I know this will sound rude, but I'm tired of you, I'm fed up with your bullshit and drama, so f**k off." Taehyung said before turning his back at jimin, not caring what the smaller male might feel.
Once he reached home, there was no text or a call from jimin, what a nice sight for him, right? no one's going to bother him now, he can do whatever he wants, unlike when he was still with jimin, he couldn't even enjoy himself since that tiny guy was always sticking to him, no matter where he went.
Days has passed by so fast, it has already been a month, he doesn't know where jimin is now, the guilt hit him so hard. He then realized that he needed jimin, he loves jimin.
While thinking about his ex-lover, his eyes caught a familiar person, it was Jimin, sitting at the coffee shop!
He immediately dashed towards the spoked of male and hugged him so tight. "Oh God! you have no idea how much I miss you!" He gladly said but as soon as he pulled away, he saw Jimin's face, in shock and disbelief that Taehyung is infront of him.
"I've already decided, I need you in my life and I love you so much, come back please, I've changed." Taehyung said sincerely, looking directly in Jimin's brown orbs, an act to prove his sincerity.
"Taehyung..." Jimin called out, sounds like an angel is calling him. "It's too late now.. maybe you've changed but what can I expect? I don't want to believe you anymore." It all crashed after he heard what Jimin said.
"what? no, I can prove myself, I promise I won't make those mistakes that I've made before." Taehyung is about to tear up, it hurt so bad.
Jimin shook his head. "I gave you alot of chances before, you're always saying the same thing over and over again. I might thank you for saying those words to me before you left me, withou caring of what I might feel, at least, now I realized that I'm happy without you, that you're not the only person whom I can hold onto. you made me feel like I'm useless, worthless even if I've done my best for you, your actions told me that those things weren't enough. " Jimin stood up after finishing with his words while Taehyung was standing there, frozen.
"why can't you be with me again?" Taehyung asked his ex- lover watching as he fixed his things, wanting to get out of the place already.
"I'm already with someone else, Tae." Jimin deadpanned. It pierced through Taehyung, he was speechless and hurt at the same time. No, he can't let go of jimin, he's the perfect person for him, he can't let this chance slide.
"I can be your second choice, you second option. I'll do everything just please, come back to me. It's fine even if you're just going to be with me when he's not around, just come back.." Jimin heaved out a sigh, he was frustrated and didn't know to do.
"if I still had feelings for you, I would've said yes. But it's different now, we have different paths. 'if we're destined for each other, we'll be together until the end.' You said these words before you left me. Hold onto destiny and let it find the person who's really for you. it's too late, Tae. I'm so sorry I can't make it up to you. " By now, Jimin was done fixing his things. Tears were already streaming down Taehyung's cheeks. he couldn't handle the pain.
"babe?" a familiar voice called out for Jimin- it's not jimin's name but taehyung was more than sure that the owner of the familiar voice is calling for jimin and when he looked at the person, it was his bestfriend.
"Taehyung...?" Jungkook was unsure if it was really Taehyung.
Taehyung immediately wiped his tears and flashed a smile. it hurt so damn much, seeing his bestfriend and the person he loves together.
"are you crying? is there something wrong?" Jungkook is a nice person, jimin knew that taehyung and jungkook are bestfriends but he doesn't have the right to get mad. Who wouldn't like Jungkook? He's perfect inside out. Jungkook never knew about Taehyung and jimin's relationship before so if there's someone who should be blameed, it's Taehyung. He should blame himself for being such a coward.
"it's nothing, I thought I saw my ex outside but turns out that-" Taehyung was unavailable to finish his words. He just shrugged before waving goodbye to the two of them.
jungkook was left behind, confused. But Jimin distracted him and reminded him about their date.
As soon as he reached his home, Taehyung lied down, reading his old conversation with Jimin. He thinks jimin is so cute, so sweet, so perfect.
"what have I done? why did I let go of an angel like you?" He asked himself.
Before he could even realize it, tears were already streaming down his face, it hurt so much to see the person you love being happy with your bestfriend. Yet, you can't do anything because realizing how much that person to you, is too late.
Taehyung stared at the ceiling, regretting every single thing he had done to hurt jimin and for not appreciating him before.
