“You heard her,” Axel smiled. “Saudwoch. Maybe it was you that clan academy failed.”
you Thomas gave Axel an exasperated look. They continued their conversation yet it failed to flow as it did prior. Rohesia remained standing at the top step, awkwardly leaning against the door. Axel kept stopping to peer over at Rohesia, eventually addressing her.
“You, uh…you okay?”
“I’m fine.”
“You’re awfully silent. More so than usual.”
“I don’t want to impose. I came out here for some fresh air.”
“You can talk with us,” Thomas said. “Feel free to butt in whenever Axel is speaking, he never says anything of value anyway.”
“Hilarious,” Axel sighed. “Absolutely hilarious.”
