"Here," Jake said handing Cassie some folded clothes. "These will fit a bit loosely but that's the smallest I have."
"Thank you, Jacob," Cassie said sincerely taking the clothes. The way she said it meant it was more than gratuity for the clothes.
"Can you not just call me Jake or even baby or honey." Jake teased wanting to change the tension.
"Sure baby," Cassie said with a small smile on her lips. She shook her head in amusement knowing exactly what Jake had done. He teased when the moment got too serious. Cassie did not mind, she hated the serious stuff too.
