"No no no, put paprika instead for that smoky taste," Cassie argued with Pete.
Paul was making an oxtail stew for Sunday lunch and had asked Cassie to taste and tell him what was missing. Pete wanted to add chili to make it hot and she disagreed.
Ever since she started learning how to cook with the twins a hidden oasis of cooking knowledge has somehow awakened in her. She could taste something and know what to add to make it taste good. She knew how to blend different spices and herbs to complement a meal. Paul had found out and often asked her what to add. Pete thought she was just playing cook hence the argument.
"Little Miss you mustered just three recipes and suddenly you are an expert," Pete said with an eye roll.
"She is right Pete, paprika would taste better," Paul told his twin
