The Three Loraine

Nighttime passed, Leon runs to his school and saw Mark. He quickly pulls the short guy to face him. "Do you know where is Ryan currently?" Thinking Leon has lost his mind, he responds to the guy. "Why are you acting as if you two did something sketchy?" Those words hit Leon hard and his face started to show redness. "Shut up!" Getting pushed by the tall guy definitely hurts his shoulder. He watches as the tall guy runs away and he pats his shoulder.

"Ouch! I hope he had no friends until he dies."

He walks towards the cafeteria but a voice can be heard from a clubroom. He peeks and saw a broken wood piece with Ryan sitting down near it. His face turns white as he sprints from the place. Promising himself to not be a jerk to anyone is what he could think and consider. He forgets what he's thinking as soon as he reaches the cafeteria.

On the other hand, failing his attempt to find Ryan makes Leon sighed in disappointment. He sat down after reach his class and Sylvia turns her body to talk with him. "Hey! Can we be friends?" Leon looks at the window and ignores the girl. Looking down at her fingers, the girl uses her best technique. "Could you let me spend my 365 days with you?" Leon felt excited feeling inside him but he ignored it and puts a smile on his face. "365 days you say?" Sylvia saw the smile and she smiles back while nodding.

Feeling satisfied with the food he got from the cafeteria, Mark went back to his class. He sat down and start eating before Ryan, makes his way to Mark, and sat down with a smile. "You're creepy. I still hate your gut. Why are you smiling a lot?" With no manners, Mark speaks while eating which makes the foods spill a bit.

After finishing his food, the teacher entered Class C and starts collecting homework. "We had homework?" His eyes move to look at the guy next to him. Holding his homework, Ryan shows no smile on his face. "Mark Loraine. Ryan Loraine. Where's your homework?" They look at the teacher in confusion before Mark starts to answer the teacher. "You see...my book was eaten by my dog yesterday." Checking Ryan's book, the teacher looked at the two sweating students with an angry face.

"Same excuse again! And Ryan! 'I don't know' is not an answer!"

Looking at the tough guy who's scratching his head, Mark realizes the strongest and silent student is actually a dumbass. His laugh fills the classroom and the teacher put detention slips on Ryan's and Mark's head. Ryan was about to ask a question but the teacher ignores him completely.

A note slip on Leon's book while he's focusing in class. He glanced at Sylvia and reads the note. He saw the invitation to walk home together and throw it away. "Psst-! Did you throw my note?!" His only response is a sarcastic smile. Sylvia was about to curse at him but then, the two students look in front of them and saw the teacher looking in their way. Sylvia sent a nervous smile at Leon.

"Sylvia Willow, Leon Loraine. Detention at lunch."

Leon dropped his pen and froze in his chair. The devastated expression on Leon's face makes Sylvia chuckle. He closes his eyes and prays so that he won't meet anyone irritating at detention. The fact a girl just ruins his perfect records hurts his pride. Making their way together to the detention room, the first things they saw are Ryan and Mark after they open the door which really makes Leon want to burn those three alive.

"Why is it, when something wrong it's always you three?" Mark shows his disgusted face at Leon's question. Leon ignores him and walks to Ryan. "You.." Before he could say more, the discipline teacher enters, and Leon had to sit down immediately. "Let's see...Mark and Ryan are not new but Miss Sylvia and Mr. Leon? Talking in class? You guys are Class A." Mark raises his brow and clears his throat. "Ma'am. Why are you saying that as if Class A never broke the rules?"

The teacher glare at him but gave them paper to write an apology essay. Leon receives his paper and starts writing while the others look at him and envy his smart brain. Sylvia starts thinking while Mark starts eating in front of the teacher. "Mr. Loraine. When did you bring food here?" Leon, Ryan, and Mark look at the teacher at the same time.

"Just now./What food?/ I'm broke."

Three different answers cause Sylvia to look at them in confusion. "Oh right. You three have the same name. I'm talking with Mark. Leon and Ryan, continue your work." Leon continues his work while Ryan thinks about how cool that they had the same name. Meanwhile, Mark is debating with the teacher, and Sylvia record it while chuckling. Realizing Sylvia's action, Leon stop her from recording.

The detention ends and they're still in detention because they haven't finished their essay except for Leon. Leon stands up and leaves the class. He coughs and pulls out a phone from his pocket. "This is his phone huh?" Leon starts exploring the phone and found nothing. He chews his cheeks and sighs. Looking through the phone, again and again, he felt devastated to find nothing in it.

"Don't tell me I have to give back this phone. Ryan you ba-"

"Mr. Leon? You should be in class now. Go." Leon hides the phone and bows to the teacher before start walking back to his class. The school end and Ryan is the last person to walk out from detention. He then looks for his phone but he felt his pocket is empty. He was about to panic until someone shoves a bag to his face. "Your bag." Mark pulls Ryan's hand and puts it in his hand. Ryan stares at the bag in his hand for a while before realizing it.

"Oh, and Leon gave your phone. I put it in your bag. Don't ask me where he finds it."

Ryan's eyes sparkle which makes Mark surprised a bit before he regains his sense. "Don't think we're friends. Now let's go." Ryan follows Mark and they walk home together. Ryan happily talks with Mark while Mark completely ignored him. Walking to the area behind the school, Leon looked at the book in his hand. He pulls out a lighter and burns it. "Hah, what a pain." He went back to his house and lay down on the couch.

"I'm home."

"I hate looking back."
